Cells: God’s Building Blocks
The human body is composed of over 10 trillion cells, and each of these cells is composed of three parts: a nucleus, cytoplasm, and a cell membrane. The nucleus is the control center of the cell while the cytoplasm and the cell membrane exist primarily to protect the nucleus.
The interesting thing about human cells is they are so small that they can only be seen through a microscope. It is truly amazing that we consist of these tiny pieces that have such intricate parts.
The psalmist wrote in Psalm 139:14: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and
wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” How true this is when we consider that we are made up of these microscopic cells, God’s building blocks, if you will.
