Dale Ridge church of Christ

          A great variety of images and metaphors of God are found throughout the Psalms.  Meditating and contemplating on these images can both help to enhance our understanding of God’s nature and can in turn strengthen our prayers to Him.  I (with a great deal of help from my eight-year-old daughter Kayla) put together the picture below which contains some of these images and metaphors from the Psalms.  A more comrehensive listing can be accessed here images_of_God_in_psalms.
