Ephesians 4:5 says: One Lord, one faith, one baptism, John 14:6 says: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 1 Timothy 1:3 says: As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine. In an effort to save money and be healthier, my wife Ruth and I have begun planning out meals that we can eat at home rather than eating out. Part of this process has involved us finding recipes that are healthy, inexpensive, and delicious. Here is one of our recent favorites quickie-fruit-salad. According to Strong’s, the word atonement (kipper) comes from a root word which means, “to cover . . . figuratively to expiate or condone, to placate or cancel.” The annual Day of Atonement (yom kipper) signified to ancient Israel the cancelling or removal of their sins.
