The Final Debate

These days America is filled with talk of debate.  Presidential debates, Vice Presidential debates, debates concerning the economy, the list goes on and on.  Periodically in our culture, there seems to be an ebb and flow of interest in debate.

One topic in which interest rarely seems to die is the debate of religion.  “Do we really need religion any more?” some will ask.  “Why bother?” others will add.  “We have grown beyond superstition” the self-proclaimed enlightened teach.
