“Satan” means “adversary,” and that characteristic is displayed in its fullest sense in the first two chapters of the Book of Job.  After Job’s pure and pious character is introduced in the first few verses of chapter one, the scene shifts to heaven where the angels appear before the throne of God.

OUR ANCHOR!

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf.” (Hebrews 6: 19-20)

Hope! What a word! Life, in order to have real meaning, must be tied to something beyond mere physical existence. Our Compassionate Jesus

Four thousand men plus their wives and children followed Jesus up a mountain near the Sea of Galilee. They just couldn’t get enough of the events that took place with our Lord healing and teaching.
