Last Friday we looked at another “M” word – Migration.  In that study we examined the phenomenon of the “Migrating Christian“, the brother or sister that seems to rotate amongst congregations in the same area, often for the wrong reasons and rarely investing themselves in the local work.  This week, let us consider the “Visiting Member“.

What Does It Mean To Be A Friend?

            The wise man Solomon wrote “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” in Proverbs 17:17.  How true these words do ring.  When we are trying to be a friend to someone, we should seek to be there for him or her through the good times and the bad.  We should definitely not be “fair weather friends,” so to speak.
