He Makes Everything Beautiful

In these uncertain times in which we live, many people are worrying about what they are going to do. What1438941471_8dec98120e will tomorrow bring? Can one count on anything or anyone in these times of trouble? An answer to these questions does exist. We will take a look at a certain passage that will help us to realize on whom we can count and to whom the control of things truly belongs.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1, we read “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” In the following verses, several of these things and purposes are mentioned: to be born, to die, to kill, to weep, to mourn, to laugh, to speak, to love, to hate, to have peace, to have war, and such. In verse 11, we read that God “hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also, he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” We find here that God is the one who is in control of everything, and in His own time, not ours, He makes everything beautiful.

We must remember as Paul writes in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” If we love God and put Him first in our lives, everything else will work out as it should.

Let us always put God first in our lives. May our focus always be on Him and His will.
