• Only our Heavenly Father knows when that day will be (Matthew 24:36).
• Christ will come as a thief in the night, meaning He will come unexpectedly (Matthew 24:37-39, 42-44; 2 Peter 3:10).
• His coming will be noticed by everyone – it will not be a secret coming (1 Thessalonians 4:16; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).
• The dead in Christ will rise first (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
• We will meet the Lord and the dead in Christ in the air and will be with Him forever (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
• Jesus and his mighty angels will take vengeance on those who know not God and obey
