PRACTICE, RIGHT

While waiting on my 7:50am meeting to start we were talking like most men do about one thing or another, today it was about golf.  A friend of mine is taking golf lessons and they seem to be helping him right much.  One thing he told me that I think is a very good lesson not only in golf but also in life itself,  he said that went you hit a bad golf shot don’t swing again trying to figure out what you did wrong,  but to forget about it and move on, don’t practice a bad swing because your mind will remember what you did,  but he did say when you hit a good shot swing again and remember what you did right, your mind will remember what you did right therefore improving your golf game.  Philp 4: 8-9

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

I think the work “Do”  says alot,,less remember those things in life we do right ,  and try not to dwell on the things that have gone wrong,  your mind will remember.
