Jesus makes a visit to his homeland and begins teaching. The residents that knew him and his family were actually offended that they would be able to demonstrate such knowledge. Here we get the names of Jesus’ brother, including James and Jude, authors of the books named for them. The disciples’ limited commission is recorded here and they are sent out in pairs to teach and heal. As the group moves on after reporting John’s death to other areas the crowds begin to press him again…
