Jesus sends two of the disciples to retrieve a colt for him to ride into Jerusalem, correctly describing what they would see. As Jesus enters Jerusalem, He is praised and makes the Jews’ anger final. A withered fig tree shows the effectiveness of prayer. Jesus cleanses the temple for a second time which causes His authority to be challenged, but Jesus stops them cold yet again.
