We are to constantly “feed on God’s word” so that we are reminded how gracious and good the Lord is. By living a life so good that other will not be able to help but Glorify God and avoiding fleshly desires that will cause others to point out our faults, we cannot help but be a “light on the path.” We are just strangers passing through this world.
As citizen or slave, we are told to be subjects to the law in order to promote the good name of religion and give not cause to speak against it. We were given an example of suffering for good by Christ and we should follow that example to please God.
v1-10 The living stone
v11-12 Live for God
