Luke was a physician and therefore a very methodical and fact oriented person. He did extensive interviews and reading about all of the events on which he writes in this book.
In Chapter 1 Luke records the angel’s appearance to Zacharias and Mary to announce the coming of John the Baptist and Jesus. Zachariah is silenced because of his disbelief.
John jumps in Elisabeth’s womb at the presence of Jesus in Mary’s womb.
