Mark 6:7-13 Luke 9:1-6 Matthew 10

• Jesus came to die for our sins and needed trusted individuals to carry the message out.
• The possibility is that they were sent out as part of their training and practice.
• Jesus needed to announce his arrival later He sent the seventy out.
• The disciples thought they were going to be setting up some kind of new political nation and mostly thought so until Acts 1
• They needed miracles and the transfiguration to develop an understanding of what was really happening
• Jesus kept them in wonderment by teaching through parables and veiled sayings
