The root of several clichés began here, where Jesus asks those without sin to cast the first stone at the lady taken in adultery. Whether or not her accusers were guilty of the same sin, their conscience would not allow them to throw a stone at her.
Jesus continues to use language defining His Deity, angering the Pharisees more and more. They never seem to get a clear cut case against Him, as john write “For His time was not yet come.”

John’s account of the feeding of the 5000 mentions a little test by Jesus to challenge the disciples on how they would feed everyone. This is the only miracle mentioned in all four Gospels.
When Jesus walked over the water to the boat, John’s account mentions that they arrived at their destination immediately.
