Christ’s sacrifice gives us our companionship with God. Through our obeying His commandments we are able to walk with Him in the Light.

A number of teachings were going to lead Christians away from God and referred to here as Anti-Christs. This is the only place in the Bible that does so. This is often mistaken as THE Anti-Christ as if it were some singular entity. Be careful of translations that render the passage this way.
