Hebrews will now get down to its reason for existing. The idea of the “Milk of the Word” continues by declaring that the church needs to move beyond the basics. Growth of the body depends on more and more mature nutrition.

Any sin which is loved more than God will cause the one practicing it to be lost without the possibility of recovery. (v4-8)
