There is no further need for sacrifices since Christ gave himself as the final, perfect sacrifice. Hold fast then, to Christ (v23)

Chapter 10 poses another warning against falling away. This is similar to the warning against becoming “lukewarm”. Stirring each other up to good works and not neglecting the worship are prescribed as ways to avoid this.
